2023 - $1000 College Scholarship Grants

Criteria: Scholarship grants are considered based upon the following requirements

  1. Including the Scholarship Application
  2. Having a permanent home address in Richland County
  3. Enrolled in a full-time Undergraduate program or,
  4. Entering at least first year of College or University
  5. Including the most recent Official High School or College Transcript, minimum 2.5 GPA
  6. Including two (2) character reference letters, school & community activities/work experience and an auto/biographical statement which includes educational background and future goals
    Applications from High School Seniors will be limited to the first forty (40) applications that are submitted
    Any missing requirement from items 1-6 will invalidate the application

2022 - 2023 - Optimist International Essay Contest

"Who is an Everyday Hero that Brings Out the Optimism in You?"

Interested students compose a 700to800word essay on the theme and send to the Mansfield Noon Optimist Club. The essays will be judged at the Club level, District level and at the International level. Three winners at the Club level will receive a medallion and a monetary award (1st $200, 2nd $100, 3rd $50). The Ohio District awards a $2,500 scholarship to the District Winner

  • Contest is open to students under age 19 as of October 1, 2022. There is no minimum age
